Pregnant with #1

We found out I was pregnant with Olive at the end of March. We made this video to show our families when we told them the great news. I can't figure out how to embed a video...so click here.
My pregnancy with Olive was pretty average I think. I had morning sickness for about a month or so in my first trimester, and I just felt sick all. the. time. It was miserable. Joey was selling in North Carolina, and I just would sit at home and sleep. Never have a been so tired and so sick. We moved to Washington for the last two months of summer, and announced I was pregnant to the rest of the world in July (when I was about halfway there). We found out we were having a girl, and started to think of names. At first, it seemed like we were never going to come to a decision we both liked. Eventually, we came up with a list of names and I became a little less stressed about it.

I look crazy...carry on.

I was hardly ever hungry the first two trimesters, but by the third I wanted to eat everything in sight. I never had weird cravings, but I did love me some food. The last couple of months, I finally understood why people complain about pregnancy. My body was sooo swollen (especially my ankles) and my whole body hurt most of the time. I was definitely ready to be done by the end of it all. Not only did it seem like my body was revolting against me, we were so so sooooo excited to meet our baby. I would just day dream (and regular dream) about what our sweet little girl would look like. We were ready for our family to grow, and become cuter than we ever thought possible.

So, I recognize this is a pretty short recap of 9 months of my life. However, I just have a lot to catch up on, so maybe I'll come back to this in the future.

A cute little set up with a cake that told us we would be having a girl! Cake and decorations by our awesome Spokane neighbor, Anna Hampton.
