Olive's Fourth Month

We had a pretty eventful fourth month. Up until this month, Olive was just our cute little newborn. There wasn't too much changing. But! This last month it seems like everyday she is just getting bigger, and smarter, and more talkative and it's so fun to watch! She rolled over for the first time this month, and she can sit up in a bumbo without wobbling hardly at all. She started to giggle and smiles even more than before. When laying down, she grabs her feet but can't quite get them to her mouth. She loves to hold peoples hands and loves exploring the world around her through touch. We read at least one book everyday, and she is surprisingly attentive and loves to look at pictures. Her favorite books to read are "Olivia," and "Noah's Ark." Every once in a while she likes to listen to me sing, and I try to teach her I am a Child of God and how to say MA MA and DA DA.

She's growing so much, and somehow manages to get cuter and cuter. She has been pretty much bald this whole month, after a good head scrub last month that caused her to lose most of her newborn hair. She's started to put anything and everything into her mouth, but her fine motor skills sometimes struggle to put items into it and she might hit herself in the face. Olive absolutely loves her dad. She'll catch even a little glimpse of him and break out into a smile, and gets so excited.

We also got to take a much needed vacation to Las Vegas between dad's winter semester and spring term. We ate lots of yummy food, hung out by the pool and did plenty of shopping. Olive was such a good baby, even on the frequent occasions that I had to feed her in the car, which is a challenge, trust me. We learned that she loves to be in her stroller. And whenever we would walk around anywhere with her, we would get CONSTANT compliments that she was so cute, precious, beautiful, smiley, sweet, etc. which she is, so, duhhhh.
